Job Title: Teacher of Computer Studies
Location: Rotherham
Salary: Up to £220 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract: Full-time / Part-time available

GSL Education are currently recruiting a Computer Studies Teacher to work across secondary schools in Rotherham. This is a great opportunity for experienced teachers or confident subject specialists who enjoy teaching computing, IT, and digital skills while supporting student progress.
About the Role:
As a Computer Studies Teacher, you’ll deliver engaging lessons that help students develop practical IT skills, problem-solving abilities, and digital literacy. You’ll create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and achievement.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver Computer Studies / IT lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Assess, track, and support student progress
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively
* Support pupils with targeted interventions and project work
* Work collaboratively with department staff
Job Requirements:
* Qualified teacher or strong subject specialist in Computer Studies / IT (QTS preferred)
* Experience teaching Computing / IT at secondary level
* Strong classroom management and communication skills
* Confident, organised, and adaptable approach
* An enhanced DBS registered to the update service (or willingness to apply)
