Job Purpose
The Quality Control Technician will support and maintain the company’s quality standards through production batch testing, data entry, process oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to uphold quality assurance and contribute to exceptional product delivery.
Responsibilities
* Perform quality control testing of production batches according to defined test specifications.
* Accurately enter all batch test results into internal systems.
* Understand and follow established test methods, observing, recording, and interpreting results.
* Monitor and analyse production data to assess efficiency and support performance improvements.
* Report regularly against defined KPIs and company/departmental targets.
* Investigate product quality complaints and provide detailed quality assurance reports.
* Test incoming raw materials and maintain accurate, detailed records of results.
* Generate test outcome reports and work with relevant teams to resolve identified issues.
Qualifications
* Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Effective written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within laboratory and production teams.
* Computer literacy essential – knowledge of Excel is an advantage.
* Previous quality control or lab experience preferred – full training will be provided.
* Previous lab/prod experience - not essential but beneficial
