A local charity in Wokingham is seeking an ambitious and motivated Operations Manager. This is a developmental role, succession planning for the CEO position. We are looking for an individual who will learn ‘on the job’ working closely with the current CEO to gradually take on increased responsibilities. Reporting to the CEO, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operational running of the charity’s service delivery, including the line management of staff and volunteers over time. The role involves overseeing scheduling, staffing, programme delivery, stakeholder engagement, fundraising, and contributing to organisational development as well as enhancing brand awareness through marketing and social media activities. This is an office-based role working 37.5 hours per week ( 30 hours over 5 days would be considered). The salary for this role is between £35,000 and £40,000 dependent on experience.
