Main duties of the job
As a Scrub Practitioner or Theatre Practitioner (ODP), you will:
* Work in a multi‑disciplinary team covering a varied patient caseload
* Use state‑of‑the‑art technology, equipment and facilities
* Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team
* Provide high‑quality peri‑operative care in a multidisciplinary team setting
* Create high‑quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based
* Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development, which can include Surgical First Assist training
About us
Nuffield Health Haywards Heath Hospital opened in 1993 and is close to the centre of Haywards Heath. It offers a wide range of medical services from minor procedures to major surgical specialties, with three operating theatres – one laminar flow – and comprehensive outpatient facilities including a 3T MRI scanner, an excellent onsite pre‑assessment clinic, a physiotherapy department and 26 en‑suite rooms on the ward. Job description
As a Scrub Practitioner/ Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our hospital, you will be focused, detail‑oriented, empathetic with great communication skills, registered with the appropriate governing body (NMC or HCPC) and bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration. You should have post‑registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment, be a team player and have a passion for exceptional patient care.

Qualifications
* Registered with the appropriate governing body – NMC or HCPC. Relevant qualifications and experience for the role.
Experience
* Post‑registration experience in Scrub roles within a Theatre environment; proven teamwork and a passion for exceptional patient care.
