We’re seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join an inclusive specialist setting in Harrogate, helping students access learning in a supportive and engaging environment. Key Responsibilities: Support students with a range of needs including autism, learning difficulties, and physical or medical needs. Provide 1:1 and small group support, adapting resources and approaches to suit individual learners. Foster confidence, independence, and positive relationships. Work alongside teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff to provide consistent, nurturing support. Requirements: Experience supporting children or young people in education, care, or community settings. Knowledge of SEND strategies, including communication aids or behaviour support approaches. DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain).
