Nursery Nurse
Monarch Education is working with an Outstanding Nursery in Northampton. They are recruiting for two Nursery Nurse positions to join their dynamic and high-achieving team.
Requirements of Applicants
* Level 3 qualification is preferred, but Level 2 will be considered with ample experience working in a nursery setting.
* Experience working with children of nursery age in previous roles or work experience.
* Enthusiastic, flexible, and eager to learn.
Working Hours and Salary
* Temporary, long-term position with the option to become permanent.
* £90 - £110 per day, dependent on experience.
* Monday to Friday, full-time hours; part-time contracts available—please inquire for details.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Work as part of a team to provide a safe, caring, and stimulating environment for children, in line with The Early Years Foundation Stage.
* This role is physically demanding and requires mobility; outdoor work in all weather conditions may be necessary.
* Accompany small groups of children on outings, ensuring safety as the highest priority.
* Clean and tidy the nursery to maintain a safe and stimulating environment.
* Build positive relationships with parents to support the connection between home and education.
* Assist with serving children's lunches and snacks.
* Complete learning journals and progress plans to update parents on their child's activities and development.
