The Role
At Charles Tyrwhitt, our purpose is to "Make it easy for men to dress well," and we rely on our specialist teams to achieve this. We are currently seeking a Sales Assistant to join our store team in The Oracle, Reading, working with Jon and colleagues.
The available contracts are for 8 and 12 hours per week, with some overtime possible. Candidates should be flexible to work on weekends, with some weekday availability preferred. Please confirm your full availability in your application.
What you will be doing
As a Sales Assistant, your responsibilities include providing exceptional customer service, maximizing sales and KPI targets, and staying updated on store ranges and promotions. You will support your team colleagues to enhance store efficiency and success. Tasks also involve stock management, replenishment, delivery processing, and maintaining visual merchandising and store standards in line with VM and Health & Safety guidelines.
What we are looking for
Experience in menswear retail is highly desirable. We value enthusiasm, drive, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with customers quickly.
