Salary – £11,875 – £12,500 per session
Location – Barnstaple area, North Devon
The surgery –
* Medium-sized practices
* Incredibly involved locally including community outreach schemes – working ‘with’ their patients rather than ‘for’ them
* Geared towards reducing GP workload
o Workflow as optimised as it can be – ‘we’ve gone as far as we can with it’
o Virtually no home visits
o No Duty Doctor!
* One-site working (no branch surgeries) and GPs get their own room
* SystmOne practice
Your role –
* 4 or more sessions
* Flexible start and finish times
* Very reasonable workload
o 14 patients per session – 4 pre-bookable, 2 GP book-only, 8 same-day
o 15 minutes available for all
* 45 minutes admin time at the end of each session
* No Duty Doctor
* Doctors’ coffee every morning and catch-up slots included too
