Role: 1st Line Technician
Location: East Cheshire
Salary: up to £28,000 DOE
We are currently looking to recruit a 1st Line Technician to join our clients busy service desk in an MSP environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance to clients face-to-face and via remote networking.
Responsibilities:
* Provide 1st Line IT Support to a variety of industries
* Occasional on-site support
* Diagnose hardware and software issues
* Work within SLA’s
* Provide a high level of support
* Manage and resolve tickets efficiently
* Setting up new users’ accounts and profiles and dealing with password issues
* Provide or update documentation to help with processes
* Prioritising and managing many open cases at one time
Technical and personal requirements:
* Office 365 Administration
* Knowledge of basic networking inc protocols
* Antivirus / Security platforms
* Windows Operating Systems and Server support
* Virtualisation – Citrix, VMWare or Hyper-V
* Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills
* Good communication skills
* Ability to work well in a team
* Ability to provide step-by-step technical help and advice
