CNC Machinist - £21.79 per hour - Rochdale
Due to an ever-increasing orderbook, we are seeking CNC Machinists to join a well-established engineering team. Our client are a leading supplier of Machinery into the Global Rubber processing industry and have been on the current site for over 100 years.
The role provides the opportunity for a permanent position within our award-winning engineering facility where we annually spend more than £2m every year in capital investment. Industry leading apprenticeship scheme (5-years) recruiting 6 per year.
The Role:
* Setting and operating of Fanuc/Heidenhain CNC Milling Machines to produce low volume precision parts
* Setting up tooling and fixturing, prove out and execute part programs
* Follow planned operations to completion at prescribed production rates to meet customer delivery schedule in accordance with Company H&S and Quality Policies
* Collaborate with colleagues and provide training if required.
The Person:
* Experienced in writing and editing programs and able to read and interpret engineering drawings to a high standard
* Competent in setting and operating CNC machines
* Able to perform initial inspections of your own/a team members' work using a variety of measuring equipment
* Sound understanding of materials, modern cutting methods and engineering processes
* Produce high quality and accurate output with minimal error rate

Hours:
* 06:00 - 14:15 Early shift, 14:00 - 22:15 Late shift, 22:00 - 06:15 Night Shift (4 hours Friday)
* 37 Hours Per Week
Salary
* OTE £50,000
* Uncapped Overtime
* £21.79 per Hour (average shift rate included) - pay award pending
