Senior Production Analyst

How you’ll help us make health happen:
1. Technically manage the data and tools needed to run and deliver the production month end process every calendar month
2. Design production solutions for operational reporting and analytics that have been prototyped by themselves or the other analytics teams.
3. Design production solutions for modelling or engineering datasets used by the analytics community
4. Design testing solutions for enterprise-wide projects in the data analytics space
5. Work with data from multiple different systems and hosting environments for the creation of datasets prior to loading into the Analytics Datamarts or Enterprise Data Warehouse/platform.
6. Make recommendation for improvements, actively looking for opportunities to optimise operation service and products
7. Ensure quality control processes are effective, robust and appropriate
8. Ensure all necessary documentation is maintained and updated after any change e.g. the service catalogue data dictionary, entity relationship diagrams, operations manual etc
Key Skills / Qualifications needed for this role:
9. Proven, strong experience of using industry standard tools and processing with large complex and intricate datamarts and datasets
10. Knowledge of health care and finance data sets demonstrating experience in database programming languages
11. Experience in working with RDMS such as Oracle or SQL Server and cloud-based data platforms – preferably Snowflake
12. Knowledge of at least one SQL dialect (T-SQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MYSQL) and SAS language is essential
13. Proven experience in working on multiple concurrent projects
14. Proven experience in process change, including reconciliation of outputs
15. Ability to understand where efficiencies can be gained from application of technology and take the appropriate course of action to implement and deliver benefits
16. Ability to solve complex problems and communicate clearly and effectively
17. Ability to deal responsibly with confidential data, having an understanding of data governance controls
