Job Details
* Salary: £109,725 - £145,478 per annum
* Contract: Fixed Term – 2 years
* Hours: Full-time – 10 Programmed Activities (DCC:SPA = 7.5:2.5)
* On Call: None
* Location: Gifford House, Thurrock Community Hospital, Long Lane, Grays, RM16 2PX
Qualifications Needed
* Full GMC registration with a licence to practice
* CCT or equivalent
* Inclusion in, or eligibility for inclusion in the Specialist Register or within 6 months of obtaining CCST
Success Criteria

* Essential understanding of current developments in community paediatric care

Responsibilities
* Work as part of multidisciplinary teams providing care to babies, children and young people across South West Essex
* Provide senior medical support and guidance to the team
* Work directly with babies, children and young people, and their families and liaise as appropriate with other external health providers and acute hospitals
* Participate in the local Child Protection rota
* Support peers and team leader, and be an effective team member whilst allowing them to work with their own initiative
* Work alongside 5wte Consultant Paediatricians, 3.8wte Specialist Grade Doctors, and 1wte Specialty Doctor within the service
* Commit to collaborative working, actively supporting and liaising with other health and social professionals and agencies
