Your Role as a Registered Nurse
As a Registered Nurse, you will be accountable for coordinating care for patients and their families, including:
* Assessing patient needs and conditions.
* Developing individualized care plans.
* Evaluating patient progress and adapting care plans as needed.
* Providing safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
* Collaborating with healthcare professionals.
Responsibilities
Patient Care
* Gather relevant health information to assess patient needs.
* Implement and revise care plans based on patient progress.
* Maintain infection prevention standards and collaborate with the healthcare team.
Education
* Engage in professional development and mentoring.
* Participate in ongoing education and in-service seminars.
Compliance/Safety
* Adhere to regulatory standards and hospital policies.
* Maintain accurate documentation and report safety incidents promptly.
Qualifications
Education:
* Associate's degree or diploma in nursing (BSN preferred).
* All associate degree nurses must graduate from a BSN program within 6 years of hire.
Certification & Licensures:
* Active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or valid compact license - Required.
* BLS, ACLS - Required.
* PALS or ENPC - Required within 90 days of hire.
* NIHSS - Required within 30 days of hire.
* ATCN or TNCC - Required within 18 months of hire.
* NRP and STABLE - Preferred.
Additional Experience:
* Familiarity with electronic medical record systems.
* Basic computer skills (Windows).
