About the role
We’re seeking an energetic and attentive Banquet Server to join our team on a casual, flexible basis. You will be the face of hospitality during events, ensuring guests receive top-notch service in a timely and professional manner. This role requires attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
What You Will Do
* Prepare banquet rooms by setting up tables, chairs, linens, and tableware according to event specifications
* Greet guests warmly and provide prompt, courteous service throughout the event
* Serve food and beverages, ensuring presentation and quality meet high standards
* Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly and professionally to requests
* Assist with clearing tables, resetting, and maintaining cleanliness during and after events
* Collaborate with kitchen and management teams to ensure smooth event execution
* Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene standards
What You’ll Bring
* Previous banquet, catering, or food service experience is preferred but not mandatory – we provide full training
* Positive, friendly, and professional demeanor
* Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
* Strong team player who communicates effectively
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
* Physical stamina to stand for long hours and carry trays or equipment
