Your Role as Assistant Store Manager
As Assistant Store Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting the Store Manager to lead the team, deliver outstanding customer experiences, and drive store performance. You’ll help to create a positive, motivating environment where both customers and colleagues feel valued.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support Leadership: Assist the Store Manager in leading and motivating the team to deliver excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
* Drive Sales: Use commercial insight to identify opportunities and help implement effective sales strategies.
* Operational Support: Oversee daily operations and ensure the store runs smoothly in the Store Manager’s absence.
* Customer Experience: Maintain a warm, welcoming atmosphere that reflects Bonmarché’s values and brand standards.
* Team Development: Support, coach, and develop team members to help them reach their potential.
What We’re Looking For
* Strong leadership potential with the ability to support and inspire a team.
* A proactive, hands-on approach to driving sales and achieving targets.
* A genuine passion for fashion retail and providing an exceptional customer experience.
Previous retail or supervisory experience is desirable, but full training and ongoing support will be provided.
