CNC Miller/Turner (Night Shift) | Contract | Inside IR35 | Poole
I am recruiting for a CNC Mill/Turn Setter/Operator to join a busy precision engineering environment on a night shift contract in Poole.
Pay is up to £23.40 per hour (inside IR35). Night shift uplift applies.
Responsibilities
* Setting and operating CNC Mill/Turn lathe machines (FANUC control) to produce components to customer drawings and specifications.
* Producing parts to drawing, tolerance and specification.
* Inspecting your own work to drawing and SPC requirements.
* Keeping your area to a high 5S / 5C standard.
Qualifications
* Strong CNC Mill/Turn setting and operating experience (FANUC).
* Time served apprenticeship (or equivalent) in mechanical engineering.
* Background in aerospace/precision engineering standards and quality expectations.
* Confidence self inspecting and working to tight tolerances.
* Nice to have: Experience with Nakamura machines and bar feed.
Shift / Site Notes
Night shift core hours are 8pm to 3am (shift start not permitted before 4pm).
