We are looking for a IT Support Technician to provide services, both on site and remote, to our growing customer base.
Working across our customer base, focusing on our clients in London, you will also have the opportunity to become Support Lead for specific customers, gaining a detailed grasp of their requirements and infrastructure, and growing your knowledge of IT. You will become a trusted advisor across a range of IT areas, and provide advice to clients on their IT direction and plans.
The ideal candidate will be able to appreciate issues through the customers eyes, and work to ensure the customer is kept informed as we resolve their issues in a timely and accurate manner.
Responsibilities
* Offer 1st and 2nd line support to end users, remotely and in person.
* Provide a contact point for customers, resolving technical issues and queries
* Familiarise yourself with customers, enabling you to provide valuable input in to customer reviews and planning
* Collaborate with colleagues and customers to ensure client IT systems are operating as expected
* Review dashboards and respond to alerts raised by our automated monitoring
* Escalate issues in house or to vendor support
* Maintain documentation and accurate records of activity
* Attend customer sites as required
Requirements
* Proven IT related problem solving skills
* Happy in a customer facing role, in person and remote
* Experience of Microsoft operating systems and Office 365 management
* Full UK driving license
Desirable
* Knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs and networking
* Familiar with AWS and Azure
