Are you an Assistant or Intermediate Mechanical Estimator looking for the next step in your career? Were recruiting on behalf of a well-respected and growing M&E Building Services contractorbased just west of Southamptonwho can offer just that.

This is an excellent opportunity for an Assistant or Intermediate-level Mechanical Estimator (around 26 years mechanical estimating experience) to develop into a fully-fledged Mechanical Estimator working across both pre-designed and design & build projects, supported by a structured training and mentoring programme.

The successful candidate will gain exposure to projects across the healthcare and medium-scale commercial sectors, typically valued between £200k and £2m. Youll work closely with senior team members to build your knowledge in all aspects of estimating, with genuine scope to take full ownership of tenders as your experience grows.

The role:

As a Mechanical Estimator, you will be:

1. Assisting in the preparation of accurate and competitive cost estimates for mechanical services projects
2. Learning and applying both pre-designed and design & build tender processes
3. Carrying out take-offs, liaising with suppliers, and obtaining quotations
