This is a temporary, full-time position that promises to provide you with invaluable experience and opportunities for growth.\n\nAccounts Assistant \n\nLocation: St Katharine Docks, Tower Bridge\n\nHourly Rate: £16.48\n\nContract Length: 3-months +\n\nContract Type: Temporary, full time\n\nRole Purpose:\n\nIn this exciting role, you'll play a vital part in processing invoices, bank reconciliations, and managing expenses for the organisation.
As part of a collaborative team, you'll liaise with both internal and external parties, ensuring that our financial operations run smoothly.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nInvoice Processing: Handling multi-currency purchase ledger invoices for various vessels, both electronically and by post\nMonitoring Systems: Keeping the I2P Mariapps system updated and addressing any supplier payment queries\nAccounts Payable/Receivable: Reconciliation of accounts payable ledger accounts and performing account payable reconciliations\nCashier Function: Managing outstanding invoice lists for approvals\nFinancial Reporting: Conducting balance sheet reconciliations related to agent advances\nGeneral Duties: Data processing, filing, photocopying, and other ad hoc tasks as assigned by the Finance Manager \n\nWhy Join Us?\n\nThis role is more than just numbers and reports; it's about being part of a team that values collaboration and innovation.
