Due to continued success and a growing pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Planner to join their expanding team. This role offers the opportunity to work across both pre-construction and live delivery stages, reporting directly to the Head of Planning and supporting major projects throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, monitor, and manage project programmes from pre-construction through to completion using Asta Powerproject.
Support tender and pre-construction planning, producing detailed programmes and method statements.
Work collaboratively with project managers, design, and commercial teams to ensure robust planning and sequencing.
Provide regular progress reports, critical path analysis, and recovery strategies where required.
Attend client and project meetings, clearly presenting programme updates and forecasts.
Ensure consistency in planning standards and contribute to continuous improvement across the planning function.
Mentor and support junior planners within the team as the business continues to grow.
Experience & Skills Required
Proven background as a Planner or Senior Planner within a main contracting environment.
Experience delivering new build projects across multiple sectors.
Strong working knowledge of Asta Powerproject.
Excellent understanding of construction sequencing, methodologies, and logistics.
Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.
Ideally degree-qualified in a construction-related discipline (not essential).
