JOB TITLE: Logistics and Sales Administrator
Opportunity for an organised and flexible administrator to join a growing global business in Essex.
Purpose of the Post
To be responsible for all aspects of logistics and sales administration. First point of contact with key customers and ANZCO NZ for order management, shipping details, and information requests. To free up the Logistics Manager, Commercial Manager, and General Manager to focus on more strategic, customer-focused, and revenue-generating work. To be responsible for the data management and accuracy of sales and logistics information in customer and ANZCO software systems. Covering the Logistics Manager during times of holiday and travel. To be an active member of the small team.
Duties and Tasks
* Check the accuracy of vital importation documentation and correct any mistakes with ANZCO NZ.
* Request PINs and book/send to hauliers.
* Send loadout reports and weekly shipment reports to customers, and be the point of contact for ad hoc customer inquiries.
* Update the logistics log with ETAs and confirmed dispatch details.
* Backup and cover for the Logistics Manager.
* Manage orders between ANZCO NZ/Itoham Japan and customers for weekly and monthly programs.
* Input sales onto ANZCO systems and confirm to customers.
* Handle customer-specific sales administration tasks.
* Serve as the point of contact and controller for important ANZCO documents and processes like specs, certifications, trace requests, and industry data reports.
* Manage various customer purchasing and supply chain systems.
* Create and distribute available stock sheets to the sales team.
* Coordinate onboarding of new customers and form submissions.
General Administration
* Manage the office landline as the gatekeeper.
* Packing and couriering of product samples.
* Manage holiday calendar, office supplies, and expense filing.
* Potential to take over some smaller customer accounts if interested.
General and Other Duties
* Undertake any reasonable duties or reports as directed by the General Manager, Logistics Manager, or Commercial Manager, within your skills and capabilities.
Person Specification
The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, enthusiastic, and possess strong organisational and administrative skills. The ability to accurately execute repetitive and detail-oriented tasks is essential. They should be able to work independently and be willing to fit into a small multi-function team, helping out wherever needed.
Experience (Essential or Desirable)
* Knowledge of the industry and current working methods (Desirable)
* Experience in logistics or sales administration (Essential)

* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook (Essential)
