Position Summary:
We are searching for a Principal Data Scientist to play a pivotal role in the organisation. Responsibilities:

2. Model Development : Develop and deploy predictive models using Python, SQL, and other relevant technologies.
3. Real-time Decision Making : Apply machine learning techniques to enable real-time decision-making at scale, enhancing business operations.
4. Strategic Insights : Utilise structured and unstructured data to derive strategic insights that drive business growth and innovation.
5. Team Leadership : Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Essential Criteria:
13. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field.
14. 7+ years of professional experience as a Data Scientist, including developing and deploying predictive models.
15. Strong communication skills and the ability to convey complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
16. Advanced knowledge of applied mathematics and statistics, with a track record of driving business improvements through machine learning models.
17. Proficiency in packaging code for deployment and re-usability, with a solid understanding of software design patterns.
18. Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving business growth and innovation.
Desirable Criteria:
19. Experience with online auctions optimisation and NLP-based applications.
20. Familiarity with modern software deployment practices, including CI/CD.
21. Master's degree or PhD in a technical field.
