About The Opportunity:
Our client is looking for an Audit Manager to manage, operate and grow a successful client portfolio. You will report into the Audit Director and lead a team to facilitate the continued growth of your portfolio.
About The Responsibilities:
* To manage, operate and grow a successful and profitable Portfolio of clients.
* Plan, manage and maximise recoverability across the Audit Portfolios.
* Schedule, plan and complete audits independently from planning to completion, previous experience in this is essential
* Manage and develop a team to ensure efficiency and development in the audit team
* Maintain high standards of compliance throughout the practice
* Identify risk matters to the business
* Report monthly on Turnover, Profitability, Chargeable time and recoverability
* Ad hoc support to Audit Director
About The Applicant:
* ACA/ACCA Qualified (QBE and finalists considered DOE)
* Technically efficient in audit, accounts and corporate tax
* Practice experience in running sizable clients, taking ownership of and developing a portfolio of clients
* Problem solving abilities in order that you can take client issues and independently and satisfactorily resolve them
* Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at every level
* A good eye for detail, and a flair for producing high quality written communication
* A positive mindset and a get up and go, can-do attitude
* Ability to respond under pressure in a complex environment, whilst managing a high and diverse workload
About The Benefits:
* 25 days Annual Leave, plus public bank holidays
* 50 hours CPD per year.
* Up to £70,000 salary per annum
