About the role:
Our colleagues in Design provide an efficient and dependable service to all of our business areas. Whether that's creating a new and creative design to catch the eye of our customers and members or getting hands-on and participating in events to promote the Society, you can be sure that no two days are the same! As advocates of creativity, we are looking for a Graphic Designer to join our vibrant team and contribute to the visual representation of our community-focused initiatives. This is a fixed term position to cover maternity leave for up to 12 months and is an on-site position.
As an Associate Designer at Lincolnshire Co-op, you will play a pivotal role in translating the vision of our business areas into compelling visual designs. Working closely with diverse teams, you'll create visually appealing materials that resonate with our audience. Your designs will span a variety of mediums, including print, digital assets, social media content, and branding materials. Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:
1. Create captivating designs aligned with our brand identity for various marketing materials.
2. Engage with internal teams to understand design requirements and collaborate successfully on projects.
3. Uphold brand guidelines in all design work to maintain visual consistency.
4. Efficiently manage multiple design projects from concept to completion, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
5. Actively seek and incorporate feedback to refine and enhance design solutions.

About You
The successful candidate will be educated to a degree level (or equivalent) and have a track record of appropriate successful achievements in delivering similar activities, alongside a proven background in executing design plans. You will have experience of using design software in a business setting and demonstrate an ability to develop business networks and build relationships with key stakeholders.
We’re looking for a strong communicator with effective networking and partnership skills; someone who can engage, address, and influence a wide range of members, customers and colleagues. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate personal resilience, critical thinking, and the ability to work on their own initiative with the determination and drive to achieve the best possible results in their role.
