About The Role

You will provide Quality & Product Assurance expertise to the business, undertaking audits and maintaining quality levels supporting with improvement activities
Quality Engineer will be based at our Barnstaple site. This role allows for flexible working.
The salary for this role is up to £44,435k, depending on experience.
What you’ll be doing
Audit projects, processes and departments against the company Business Management System
Manage audit findings, ensuring overdue and upcoming actions are managed, with closure plans in place
Ensure that customer, regulatory and implied quality requirements and standards are identified and captured
Assist with business & process improvement activities
Provide advice and support to projects and operations covering areas such as quality best practice, issue management, first article inspections, QASORS etc
Participate in third party and customer quality events
Manage non-conformances and concessions through to closure ensuring effective Root Cause Analysis and actions have been completed
Sign-off of dispatch notes against company and customer requirementsAbout our company

Previous experience within a similar role
Strong Auditing skills
Expert knowledge of ISO 9001
Strong Root cause analysis & problem solving skills
Strong attention to detail
