Job Description
You’ll be hands-on with tanks, filters, and all the moving parts that turn raw ingredients into the drinks we’re known for at Michelin star restaurants, national retailers, and our partner brands. It’s a blend of science and craft with the odd jump into packaging or the warehouse to keep the whole operation humming.
Job Duties
Fermentation & Filtration
1. Conducting day-to-day fermentations and filtrations as per the production plan
2. Becoming expert in our unique fermentation process
3. Becoming expert in our unique filtration process
4. Follow the Fermentation SOP exactly and diligently. d. Follow health and safety requirements exactly, ensure cleanliness at all times.
5. Understanding the potential areas of risk in propagation and fermentation and mitigation against these risks
6. Work alongside others in the operations team to deliver this effectively
7. Laboratory work to laboratory standards
Packaging support
8. Occasional shift support on the bottling and canning lines to spread the load between the team as the needs of production require, but may need to grow into being able to supervise on the bottling line on occasion
Warehouse support
9. Warehouse operations support when needed, eg box builds, stock take
General Responsibilities
10. Maintenance of records
11. Monitor and maintain equipment as per maintenance schedules
12. Achieve quality targets
13. Cleaning in Place of fermentery equipment
14. Work to SALSA and BRC Standards
15. Stock management
16. Shift work as required by the production plan
