Coordinateexternalsourcesofmarketrelevantdata&informationandcombinewithdataflowingtotheresearchdeskfromglobaloriginationteams&merchandisingcentres.Thesuccessfulcandidatewillberesponsibleforenhancingandfullyutilisingtheadvantageousdataheldacrossthewidergroup.AsCoffeeisaleadingcommoditywithinthecompany,theindividualwilldealwithadiverserangeofstakeholders&customersacrossthebusiness,forwhichresearchisakeypartoftheirbusiness.
- Managealargeandcomplexdatabaseofcoffeestatisticsensuringthatproductiondataisuptodateandaccurate.Withfocusonexports,imports,tradeflows,stocks,localprices/differentialsandconsumptiontrends.
- Regularreportingforinternalandexternaluse,suchas;weeklyreports,meetingsummariesandmonthlyupdates.
- Hostandminuteregularinternalcoffeetrademeetings,ensuringagendaisalwaysrelevanttodrivingforceswithinthemarket.
- Preparepresentationsforcustomersacrossthedifferentprofitcentresaimedatsupportingthetradeandsalesteams.
- Engagefullywithaninternalnetworkofagronomistsandlocaloriginspecialiststohelpinformyourcentralisedresearch.
- Analysethemarketsandkeeptradersupdatedwithimportantinsights.
- Keepuptodatewiththeothercommodities,suchascocoaandcottonandidentifyinnovativemethods&techniquesthatcouldbeusedtostrengthencoffeeanalysis.
