Role Summary
We are seeking a Maths Teacher to work with students who have special educational needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other learning difficulties. Your role will involve developing differentiated and engaging math lessons that align with students Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
Essential Requirements
*
QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) is required.
*
Must have the right to work in the UK.
*
A valid Enhanced DBS registered on the update service.
*
Proven experience teaching math to students with SEN in the UK.
*
Availability Monday through Friday.
Experience and Skills
*
Experience creating and delivering adapted math lessons for students with SEN in UK schools.
*
Ability to link numeracy concepts to real:life skills and EHCP goals.
*
Make math concepts accessible through practical, hands:on examples.
*
Use interactive and multi:sensory teaching methods to engage students.
*
Foster confidence and independence in learners.
*
Provide personal care support as needed.
