Regulatory BarristerA national Regulatory department of a leading law firm has a requirement for a Regulatory Barrister, in Leeds, to deal with Professional Discipline cases at final substantive hearing and represent clients in cases involving dishonesty, fraud, sexual misconduct and serious instances of deficient professional performance.The role will provides opportunity to work with expert witnesses and to support vulnerable witnesses and those with additional support needs to give best evidence.Furthermore, the Barrister will have an input into case direction at all stages of the investigation and preparation process. This includes: evidence reviews, allegation drafting, preparing opening notes, case summaries and written applications/ skeleton arguments and advice on all types of legal and evidential issues arising during the course of case preparation and presentation.High Court and First Tier Tribunal work on appeals may be available subject to experience and qualification
