We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector / NEC Supervisor / Clerk of Works to join a team in a mobile position, overseeing and assuring construction activities across the North West. This role requires flexibility and regular travel, as you will be visiting and monitoring multiple project sites each week, depending on ongoing maintenance and capital works. It is a hybrid role with a strong site presence.

Key Responsibilities
Ensure all works meet framework compliance requirements.
Monitor subcontractor SHEQ (Safety, Health, Environment & Quality) standards, ensuring alignment with company and framework expectations.
Support and guide subcontractors to drive performance improvements.
Conduct audits and inspections, implementing corrective actions where needed.
Carry out quality checks, ensuring works follow quality plans and inspection/test plans (ITPs).
Provide real-time updates on progress, performance, and site issues.
Help coordinate activities between delivery teams, subcontractors, and the client.
Verify correct use of work authorisation processes and permits.
Maintain strong and professional relationships with client operational teams.
Candidate Requirements
Recent, proven experience in a similar role (Quality Inspector, NEC Supervisor, or Clerk of Works) with a Tier One delivery contractor.
Background in supervising capital and maintenance projects, ideally within the water or wastewater sector.
Civil engineering qualification (or equivalent) preferred.
Confident in using digital site management tools and systems.
Willing and able to travel daily across sites.
Essential certifications: CSCS, First Aid, SSSTS/SMSTS.
