With a commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork, you’ll join an integrated therapy team alongside physiotherapists, speech & language therapists, and Rehabilitation Assistants. Using your expertise in assessment & treatment techniques, you’ll provide advice to ensure patients understand, cooperate, and consent to their care.

Requirements include a recognized degree in occupational therapy or equivalent, registration with the HCPC, and the ability to monitor and review care plans against outcome measures. You should possess strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills, and be capable of maintaining accurate records in line with national standards.
You will assess patients comprehensively, considering medical, psychological, social, environmental, and cultural factors. Flexibility and adaptability to different specialties and environments are essential, along with a calm, professional approach and participation in weekend rotas.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are vital to build rapport and demonstrate compassion. As a problem solver with analytical skills, you will develop and implement evidence-based treatment programs tailored to individual patient needs.
