Corporate Tax Assistant Manager (Private Capital Focus)

We’re working with a leading, top-tier accountancy firm to appoint an Assistant Manager into their growing Private Capital Tax team in Glasgow. This is a genuinely well-rounded role—offering exposure across corporate tax, shareholder advisory, and private client work.

* Compliance AND Advisory - You’ll manage corporate tax compliance but also get involved in transactions, structuring and shareholder planning

* Study support for CTA, if not already qualified
The role
\t
* Managing a portfolio of OMBs, private equity-backed and corporate groups
\t
* Delivering corporate tax compliance and tax accounting
\t
* Supporting on advisory projects including transactions, structuring and shareholder advisory
\t
* Acting as a key point of contact for clients
\t
* Reviewing and developing junior staff
\t
* Collaborating across audit and advisory teams
What we’re looking for
\t
* ATT / CTA / ACCA / CA qualified
\t
* Strong Corporate Tax grounding
\t
* Experience managing compliance work, with exposure (or appetite) for advisory
\t
* Commercial mindset and ability to build relationships
\t
* Ambition to progress—
