Role Overview
We are seeking a Lead Functional Architect to lead enhancements, upgrades, and optimization initiatives for Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS. This role requires a strong mix of business process expertise and technical understanding, ensuring that system improvements deliver measurable value to warehouse and dispatch operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Solution Design & Enhancement
* Own functional design for Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS upgrades and enhancements.
* Analyze existing configurations and recommend improvements for efficiency and scalability.
* Define functional specifications for new features, integrations, and performance tuning.
* Stakeholder Engagement
* Conduct workshops with business teams to capture evolving requirements.
* Translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
* Technical Collaboration
* Work closely with developers and integration teams on APIs, microservices, and carrier integrations (e.g., Metapack).
* Validate technical feasibility and ensure alignment with architecture standards.
* Continuous Improvement
* Identify opportunities for automation, process optimization, and system performance improvements.
* Support testing, validation, and deployment of enhancements.
Required Skills & Experience
* Proven experience with Blue Yonder Dispatcher WMS (functional and technical).
* Strong understanding of warehouse operations and retail supply chain processes.
* Experience in solution architecture, functional design, and system integration.
* Familiarity with MOCA architecture, APIs, and microservices.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable Experience
* Previous experience working in consulting environments delivering WMS solutions.
* Strong background with retail clients, including omni-channel and e-commerce operations.
* Exposure to automation technologies (AMRs, conveyors).
* Certifications: Blue Yonder WMS, Agile Project Management.
