Contract Type: Full-time, permanent teacher
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to inspire young minds at our vibrant primary school in the heart of Chapeltown.
A temporary TLR for Key Stage Leadership may be available for the right candidate for the 2025/2026 academic year in the first instance.
If you are experienced supporting colleagues, excellent teaching skills and are excited about working hard to serve a disadvantaged community, then we want to hear from you.
The successful candidate will:
1. Model excellent classroom practice as a cover teacher in Year 6 for part of the week and across school
2. Champion equity and inclusion, with a focus on improving outcomes for disadvantaged and vulnerable pupils
Key Responsibilities if successful as a TLR holder:
3. Key Stage 2 coaching and leading CPD and supporting colleagues to continually improve
4. Leading and supporting a culture of high expectations for behaviour and attitudes, ensuring consistency and support
5. Supporting SEND in Key Stage 2 and working closely with our SEND Support Officer
6. Be part of a senior leadership team and lead your own phase
We are looking for someone who:
7. Is passionate about inclusive education and has experience supporting children with SEND and those from disadvantaged backgrounds
8. Is committed to working hard to make a difference where it matters most
9. Understands the importance of high expectations for all learners, especially pupil premium students
10. Will lead with compassion, integrity, and ambition for every student
11. Values the distinctiveness of a Catholic school, embracing its ethos and seeing the strength it brings to the community
