TheRole
As Assistant Practitioneryouwill be a pivotal part of our nursing team deliveringindividualised care that supports the wellbeing of our residentsand their families under the guidance of our registerednurses.
Whatwill your typical dayinvolve
In this role youwill be tasked with providing evidencebased care which includesassessing planning implementing and evaluating care plans for ourresidents ensuring the highest standards of care are consistentlymaintained.
Youll work closely with amultidisciplinary team to collaborate effectively acrossdepartments.As part of your responsibilities youll overseeHousehold HCAs and Senior HCAs prioritising workloads and managingresources efficiently.
Additionally youll act asan advocate for residents ensuring their nutritional hydration andpersonal hygiene needs are met with the utmost dignity. Acommitment to professional development is vital as youll beexpected to continually develop your clinical skills and knowledgestaying informed of the latest advancements in palliative care andengaging in ongoing education and trainingopportunities.

Who are we lookingfor
The ideal candidate for thisrole must be a Nursing Associate registered with the NMC at band 4which is essential and having a Foundation Degree in Health andSocial Care or an equivalent qualification would be considereddesirable.
Essential to this position is previousexperience in a similar role or as a Nurse Associate. The roledemands excellent clinical skills proficiency in electronic recordsystems strong communication abilities and the capacity to workeffectively within a team. These skills are crucial in ensuringthat high standards of care are consistently delivered reflectingour commitment to excellence and the wellbeing of ourresidents.
