Key Responsibilities Plan, organise, and lead a wide range of engaging in-house activities such as arts and crafts, baking, music sessions, games, gardening, and reading Arrange community outings and events including walks, cafe visits, shopping trips, and social gatherings Encourage participation by adapting activities to meet individual abilities, preferences, and care plans Support residents in developing confidence, communication skills, and independence-such as budgeting, planning, and accessing the community Promote dignity, choice, inclusion, and respect for every individual Build positive relationships with residents, families, and the wider team Monitor residents' engagement, record progress, and contribute to holistic care planning Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and any changes in wellbeing Work in line with Health & Safety requirements and safeguarding guidelines Ensure all activities are delivered in a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment What We're Looking For A warm, caring, and patient approach Experience in a care, support, or activity-based role (preferred but not essential) Excellent communication and organisational skills Creativity, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate others The ability to work flexibly, independently, and as part of a supportive team Understanding of safeguarding, confidentiality, and risk management A commitment to upholding the values, ethos, and policies of Careline Lifestyles About Us Careline Lifestyles is a family-run specialist provider of residential and nursing care.
