This role is part of a high profile area of local government, directly supporting elected members to strengthen decision making and improve outcomes for communities across Denbighshire. Working within our Scrutiny team, you will gain hands‑on experience in researching complex issues, supporting scrutiny committees and collaborating closely with councillors, senior officers and external partners.
Responsibilities
* Support elected members in enhancing decision making and service delivery for communities.
* Conduct research on complex local government issues, preparing briefing materials and evidence for scrutiny committees.
* Collaborate with councillors, senior officers and external partners to gather information and provide analysis.
* Assist in the preparation and delivery of scrutiny presentations and reports.
