Job Summary
Newbold Tyres is seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Wheel Aligner to join our team. The role involves carrying out accurate wheel alignment services on a wide range of vehicles, including cars and commercial vans, ensuring safety, performance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out precise wheel alignment on cars and light commercial vans using modern alignment equipment
* Inspect steering, suspension, and tyre condition prior to alignment
* Diagnose and correct alignment-related issues such as uneven tyre wear and handling problems
* Adjust camber, caster, and toe settings to manufacturer specifications
* Advise customers and colleagues on alignment findings and any additional work required
* Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
* Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
* Follow all health and safety procedures and company policies
Skills and Experience Required
* Previous experience in wheel alignment or a similar automotive role
* Knowledge of vehicle steering and suspension systems
* Ability to work on a variety of vehicles, including cars and commercial vans
* Competent in using wheel alignment equipment and tools
* Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
* Strong time management and ability to work independently or as part of a team

Desirable Qualifications
