About the Role: Being a Community Carer is a heartwarming role focused on helping individuals in our community stay in their own homes with their home comforts and remain independent for as long as possible. As a Community Carer you will be responsible for providing personal care and support in clients’ homes, among other duties.
* Providing personal care and support in clients' own homes, such as washing, dressing, food preparation, etc.
* Administering medication in line with a client's care plan (full training provided).
* Ensuring that relevant documentation is promptly maintained and recorded accurately.
* Supporting clients to enjoy life and remain as independent as possible, for as long as possible.
* Being a kind, caring and passionate person who can brighten our clients' day.
* Being part of a close-knit team dedicated to providing the best possible support to our clients and to each other.
About You
No formal care experience or qualifications are required. If you are naturally kind and caring, you may already have the experience we need. Full training and the opportunity to advance your career through qualifications will be provided.
* A naturally kind, patient and compassionate person who can put a smile on clients' faces.
* Committed to delivering excellent customer service and remembering the little things (for example, milky tea with 2 sugars).
* Respectful of the dignity and privacy of others, visiting their homes and providing personal care.
* Able to work on your own initiative with strong timekeeping skills; no two days will be the same.
* Looking to advance your career or try something new? Full training is provided.
* A driver with your own vehicle; travel between clients is essential.
* Looking for a part-time role to fit around your schedule.
