As a Product Manager, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary Product Team and colleagues across Wellcome Collection to ensure digital products meet or exceed user expectations and engage diverse audiences, fostering a sense of belonging.
What will I be doing?
You will help the team understand the problems they are solving, why users would use the product, and why Wellcome wants to build it. You will collaborate with designers, developers, data analysts, content creators, and stakeholders to build feasible and valuable digital products.
Specifically, you will:
* Define and champion the product vision and its integration into the overall architecture, effectively communicating its aims internally and externally;
* Manage your product daily, aligning it with departmental strategy and the product roadmap;
* Build and prioritize the product backlog based on effort, research, analysis, testing, and needs;
* Ensure the team understands the problems and helps devise desirable and feasible solutions.
This role aims to ensure everyone benefits from and enjoys Wellcome Collection’s content and services.

Essential qualifications include:
* Strong understanding of website development best practices, including user research, interface design, A/B testing, information architecture, domain-driven design, and software deployment;
* Solid knowledge of web technologies;
* Proficiency in web accessibility standards and inclusive digital design;
* Curiosity with strong analytical and interpretative skills;
* Passion for using qualitative and quantitative data to improve user experience;
* Sound judgment for reporting and escalation of business issues;
* Ability to develop and refine a compelling product vision;
* Flexibility, creativity, initiative, and responsibility;
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail;
* Calmness and proactive attitude;
* Experience working in agile or lean product teams.
