Oldham Foodbank is seeking a Foodbank Services Lead to oversee the day-to-day delivery of our services across the borough. The role supports volunteers, ensures smooth centre operations, and maintains high standards of client care and stock control.
Working closely with the Foodbank Manager, you will coordinate foodbank centres and warehouse activity, helping ensure food parcels are prepared accurately and distributed efficiently. You will support volunteer rotas, provide guidance during sessions, and assist with induction and training.
You will help maintain clear systems, accurate data recording, and effective stock control processes. The role also involves maintaining positive relationships with referral agencies, supporting the onboarding of new partners, and ensuring services operate in line with safeguarding procedures and Trussell guidance.
This is a practical, hands‑on role suited to someone organised, calm under pressure, and confident leading volunteers in a supportive and structured way.

* Salary: £26,000–£28,000 per annum (depending on experience). 25 days annual leave (pro rata) plus bank holidays. Reasonable travel expenses reimbursed where applicable.
