Our prestigious, market leading client within the Contractor Marketplace are seeking a results-driven Internal Sales Manager to lead their telephone-based onboarding team.
This role is critical in driving revenue growth by managing and developing a team focused on onboarding new contractors and closing sales opportunities with high efficiency and conversion rates.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in telesales or inside sales management and a passion for motivating teams to exceed targets.
This position is full time and permanent, based at their Head Office.
Key Responsibilities:
•Team Leadership: Manage, mentor, support a team of onboarding sales advisors, ensuring high levels of engagement, performance, and development.
•Sales Performance: Drive team performance to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets and KPIs, including call conversion rates.
•Onboarding Strategy: Oversee the end-to-end onboarding process for new customers, ensuring a smooth transition from lead to active user or client.
•Process Optimisation: Continually assess and improve onboarding scripts, sales techniques, and workflows to maximise team efficiency and close rates.
•Coaching & Development: Provide regular training, feedback, and coaching to the team, including call reviews and performance assessments.
•Reporting: Monitor and report on individual and team performance metrics, using data to drive informed decisions and improvements.
•Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Compliance, and Field Sales teams to ensure alignment and seamless contractor experiences.
•CRM Management: Ensure accurate and timely data entry in CRM systems, maintaining high standards of lead and contractor record integrity.
Key Requirements:
•Proven experience in an internal sales or telesales management role, ideally within a fast-paced or high-volume environment.
•Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance in a team.
•Demonstrable success in managing onboarding or inside sales teams with high closing percentages.
•Excellent communication, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
•Data-driven mindset with experience in using CRM and sales analytics tools.
•Organised, detail-oriented, and able to thrive under pressure.
•Knowledge of onboarding best practices and customer journey management is a plus.
•Experience working within a regulatory framework would be advantageous
