We are undertaking a group-wide IT equipment upgrade and are looking for a proactive and customer-focused IT Service Desk / Support Analyst to join our dynamic Technology Team. Job Description
We seek a dedicated IT Service Desk / Support Analyst to provide 1st and 2nd line support across various systems and services. The role involves supporting users of all technical levels in a fast-paced environment, solving problems, and delivering excellent service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Service Desk Support: Resolve incidents and fulfill service requests via phone, email, and ITSM platform.
2. Technical Troubleshooting: Support issues across Windows software and critical applications in Warehouse, Transport, and Back Office environments.
3. Hardware Management: Deploy and maintain IT assets including PCs, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and warehouse equipment.
4. Business Change Support: Assist with IT aspects of site openings, closures, and relocations.
5. User Communication: Engage effectively with users, providing clear updates and managing expectations.
6. Ticket Management: Log, prioritize, and resolve tickets in line with SLAs, maintaining a customer-first approach.
7. Continuous Improvement: Identify trends, reduce incidents, and improve service quality.
8. Monitoring & Escalation: Use tools to proactively identify issues and escalate as needed.
9. Collaboration: Work with other teams to ensure smooth system transitions and updates.
10. On-Call Support: Participate in out-of-hours support rota.
11. Travel: Occasionally support incidents or projects at other Gregory Group locations.
Required Experience
* Minimum of 2 years' IT support experience.
* Confident communication skills supporting users of varying technical abilities.
* High attention to detail in builds and documentation.
* Self-management skills to handle workload and deadlines.
* Full UK driving license, access to insured vehicle, and willingness to travel.
