Who are we looking for?
* Engagement Skills: Ability to engage learners and support their ambitions with creativity.
* Emotional Support: Passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives.
* Academic Background: Degree in relevant teaching subject; SEN qualification (desirable).
* Core Qualifications: QTS/QTLS or willing to work towards it; specialist qualification (desirable).
* Experience: School environment experience, particularly in secondary education.
* Teaching Subjects: English, Maths, Science with a minimum of grade 4/C or higher.
* Knowledge: Understanding of alternative provision and students with special needs.
* Problem-Solving: Effective decision-making skills.
* Communication: Professional with students and staff.

About The School
Progress Schools is part of The Progress Group, comprising six units dedicated to innovative education and training. Our Northampton school supports approximately 35 pupils requiring a nurturing environment for reintegration into mainstream settings. The team includes the Head of School, Deputy, teachers, and support staff, with regional and national support.
