Cleaning Operative – Burgess Hill, West Sussex – FM Service Provider - £12.60 per hour
Exciting opportunity for a cleaner to work for an established cleaning company situated in Burgess Hill, West Sussex. CBW are currently recruiting for a Cleaning Operative to be based in a commercial building. The successful candidates will have a proven track record in cleaning within a commercial building.
Details / Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 05:00am to 09:00am
* Ongoing contract
* Immediate start
Key duties & Responsibilities:
* Check that all cleaning equipment is safe to use before commencing work
* Undertake suction cleaning, sweeping and washing of all floor areas
* Emptying waste bins and receptacles
* Clean toilets and wash room areas
* Clean fixtures and fittings ensuring that high and low surfaces are free from dust and dirt
* Carpet cleaning, stripping / sealing / polishing of floors
* To maintain store cupboards and replenish allocated cleaning stock / materials
* Provide a rapid response when reacting to spillages and other cleaning or waste
* Report any building defects
* Paying particular attention to health and safety matters including possible hazards
* To be fully conversant with security, fire and emergency procedures
* To comply with the company’s policies, management plans and procedures
Requirements:
* Have a proven track record in cleaning within a commercial environment
* To work to a timescale as agreed with you and your Supervisor/Manager
* Ensure compliance with relevant health & safety practices
* To always act in a professional manner
* Be honest, reliable, and hard working
* Must be able to demonstrate good communication skills
* Be eligible to work in the UK
* Safety boots needed
