Are you a qualified SpLD Tutor looking for a role that fits around your life? Randstad is looking for dedicated Specialist One:to:One Study Skills Support Workers to join our team in Liverpool. This is a hybrid role where youll have the impact of in:person sessions combined with the convenience of remote work, all while supporting students to reach their full academic potential.
As a Specialist:one:to:one Study Skills Support Worker with Randstad, you will provide learning support and academic guidance. This includes creating an individual learning plan that has been tailored to the students needs and encourages them to become an independent learner.
As a Specialist:one:to:one Study Skills Support Worker, you are required to support students to:
: Develop independence.
: Build on strengths and learning strategies.
: Create strategies around organisation and time management.
: Create action plans to stay on track with studies.
: Build on research skills : widening knowledge by using a variety of sources.
: Distinguish appropriate sources and how to correctly use references
: Build on comprehension skills within reading and writing.
Whilst working for Randstad the needs of individual students should be taken into consideration case by case and you should ensure that any concerns are addressed in a timely manner. It is expected that you would act professionally and maintain confidentiality within your role at all times, sharing all relevant information with Randstad to ensure the best possible service to your students.

Requirements
To meet the DfE qualification framework for DSA:funded support, you must hold a current membership with one of the following professional bodies:
: BDA (British Dyslexia Association)
: ADSHE (Association of Dyslexia Specialists in Higher Education)
: Dyslexia Guild
: PATOSS (Professional Association of Teachers of Students with SpLD)
Please ensure your membership level meets the DfE criteria (typically Associate or Professional level).
Desirable Skills
: Proven experience supporting individuals with specific learning difficulties.
: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build professional, confidential relationships.
: Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a diverse student caseload.
: Reliability and punctuality.
