JOB SUMMARY
This position is part of the Sales & Events team responsible for reactive group sales, whether attached to events and weddings or not. Using strong organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills, this role involves preparing all event documentation, coordinating with hotel departments and clients to ensure high-level service throughout pre-event, during, and post-event phases, administering contracts, and inputting group bookings/rooming lists into the Opera booking system.
The Events Executive must have impeccable attention to detail and exceptional organisational skills to deliver the role to the expected standard. The ability to multitask, prioritize, and use initiative is essential. This role involves direct client interaction and administrative work. The role requires working every other Saturday and occasional evenings.
Experience:
Previous experience in the hotel industry is preferred—experience in Weddings & Events, Opera booking system, Salesforce, and dealing with groups/catering/delegations is highly desirable.

Education or Certification:
* Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential
* High school diploma or GED; 1-2 years of experience in Reservations/Event Booking or related area
