Overview
After four years with us, a valued member of our team is off travelling, and we are seeking a replacement. While she will be a tough act to follow, this presents an exciting opportunity for a confident, friendly, and focused individual to join our team at The White Lion, a traditional country pub serving lunch and evening meals.
As a member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers have an exceptional experience. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, serving food and drinks, maintaining a clean and tidy environment, and assisting in the kitchen as needed. Additional tasks may arise as necessary.
While prior experience is preferred, it is not a requirement, as we are committed to training the right candidate. We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, confident, and takes pride in delivering outstanding service that encourages our customers to return.

* A willingness to help colleagues and contribute positively to the team environment.
* Bartending or waiting experience and a passion for learning would be advantageous.
We offer a minimum of two shifts per week, with each shift lasting approximately 3.5 to 4 hours. For those seeking additional hours, extra shifts will be available. Our shifts, which include lunchtime, evenings, and weekends, are scheduled on a rota system, but we are open to discussing preferred hours with the right candidate.
Please note: the pub is not accessible by public transport, so you will need to have your own, reliable transport, and due to licensing restrictions you must be over 18years old to be considered for the role.
