The Principal Engineer – Power Electronics will lead the development of advanced power electronics systems from clean-sheet concept through to validated hardware. The role is responsible for defining requirements, leading circuit and magnetic design, and overseeing prototype implementation for traction inverters, DC/DC converters, On-Board Chargers (OBC), and associated electrified powertrain systems. This is a senior technical leadership role requiring deep expertise in power electronics, strong commercial awareness, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering innovative, high-performance, and safety-compliant solutions. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Lead the specification, design, and validation of power electronics systems including traction inverters, DC/DC converters, AC/DC systems, and OBCs Own magnetics and capacitor design for high-performance power converters Lead design of digital and mixed-signal control systems and processing platforms Oversee simulation activities using industry-standard tools (e.g., Simscape, PLECS) Guide control strategy development including motor control and converter control schemes Ensure compliance with relevant standards (IEC61508, ISO26262, CISPR25, EMC directives) Lead hardware development from concept through prototype and test System & Validation Develop and validate designs in virtual, HiL, and hardware environments Oversee EMC mitig...
