You will be providing pitchside support and will need to be available for weekend training sessions. There is also the opportunity to provide support for domestic and international games.
Responsibilities
Assist Team Leads with planning of sessions and risk assessments of venues.
Assess acute and chronic injuries as required
Document injuries and liaise with Team Lead
Perform first aid management for training sessions and games
Liaise with Team Lead, coaches and staff as required with updates on injuries and return to play status
Provide pre and post training/game treatments for MSK injuries as scheduled by the Team Lead
Requirements
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Sports Therapy/Rehabilitation, Physiotherapy, Osteopathy etc
Registered with governing or membership body with full insurance
Minimum of 2 years postgraduate pitch side/sports team experience (preferably in contact sports and not to include University placement hours)
In date pitch side First Aid qualification or equivalent
Competent with strapping and taping
Availability and accessibility to travel around the UK and abroad for training sessions and games
